In a statement on Costco’s website, the bulk wholesale store will be requiring customers to wear face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19. They have also recently updated some of their policies, including only allowing two people per membership card in at one time. In addition, they were one of the retailers to introduce an early morning hours for people over the age of 60 to shop in a safer environment.
“To protect our members and employees, effective May 4, all Costco members and guests must wear a mask or face covering that covers the mouth and nose at all times while at Costco.”
The statement regarding the new mask rule does not apply to children under 2 or those unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition.
