Why New Orleans? A co-founder in the festival is Patrick Comer, Founder and former CEO at Lucid (headquartered in NOLA). Lucid is the first global exchange for market research samples which introduced programmatic buying and selling to the market research industry. Prior to founding Lucid, Patrick has a decorated career in market research and consulting that spans 2 decades. Lucid was acquired by Cint for $580 million in 2021 – NOLA’s first unicorn. Patrick now heads Gripnr, a Web3 technology company bringing tabletop games to the blockchain. And co-founded Fresh Mint Fest – New Orlean’s first web3 festival.
