The end of the year is almost here and while it’s time to reflect on some of the best music you saw in 2023, it doesn’t mean you can’t get one last show in. If you are in New Orleans and ready to run it back one more time with your friends, we have the show just for you. On December 28 our guy INZO is bringing his Visionquest tour to The Joy Theater and he is bringing some of our favorite friends with him: Super Future and Heyz.
Super Future has been a longtime River Beats artist. We profiled him in 2018 and it is still well worth a read. Heyz has made a name for himself this past year; dive into his latest release here.
This is one of the last dance shows in NOLA, and you need to be there. INZO has had a ridiculous 2023 and it looks as if he is not slowing down in 2024.
INZO’s Rise
Hailing from Chicago, INZO is celebrated for his distinctive sound that seamlessly blends elements from various genres like future bass, melodic dubstep, and chillstep.

In 2018, I had the amazing pleasure of covering INZO’s now-renowned single “Overthinker.” If you are unfamiliar with the track, it 100% catapulted INZO into success and if you have listened to it, you know why. The song has licensed samples from philosopher Alan Watts, who provides a friendly voice telling humans to “stop overthinking.” His healing voice, mixed in with some cinematic drops, creates a sense of nostalgia throughout the song. Why You Need To Attend December 28 @ The Joy in NOLA
INZO was last in NOLA in October 2022, a sold-out show at Republic NOLA. Since his last trip to the Big Easy, INZO has been active on the touring and music side of things. He released music with LSDREAM for his Sidequest EP and is kicking off the heavy side of the Visionquest tour in early 2024.
With this being one of the last shows at The Joy for 2023, AEG Presents, INZO’s team, and New Orleans’s very own Main Stage Productions have worked with Joy to present an added experience for this special end-of-year show. You can expect the addition of new lighting, new video walls, extra sound, and even some special guests who are not on the lineup.
