Canadian-born producer, Sleepy Tom, is headed for New Orleans this Friday and to welcome him River Beats has curated our top five tracks from the young artist. Sleepy Tom has been making his name known all over the world. His debut EP, The Currency, resulted in a massive explosion of popularity. Since his worldwide hit collaboration with Diplo, “Be Right There,” he has broken out with releases on Spinnin’ Records and Mad Decent. “Be Right There” is easily a crowd favorite and made its way into the Top 40 charts in the US after breaking over 160 million streams. In 2016, he spent some time touring and appeared at EDC Las Vegas and New York.
Sleepy Tom has produced tracks with some of the biggest names in the world such as Diplo and Zeds Dead. With his catchy, pop-style club beats, a Sleepy Tom set will be anything but boring! Who knows what 2017 will have in store for this up and coming producer. His newest single, “Distant Future”(feat. Dirty Radio is a pop-based lively track and a perfect follow-up to “Be Right There”.
