Embrace the summer with Art & A/C, brought to you by The Helis Foundation! Every Saturday in August, residents of Louisiana can enjoy complimentary general admission to several esteemed cultural institutions in New Orleans, including the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans (CAC), Ogden Museum of Southern Art (Ogden), and New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). As an added bonus, select days will feature sweet treats and giveaways! The Art & A/C event kicks off on Saturday, August 5th.

According to Jessie Schott Haynes, Managing Director of The Helis Foundation, Art & A/C offers a distinct and creative way to explore the city of New Orleans. This initiative, an extension of the Art For All program, allows every Louisiana resident to experience these exceptional cultural resources during the hottest days of the summer.

The Helis Foundation’s Art For All program, generously supported by the foundation, offers Louisiana residents free general admission on designated days throughout the year not only to the aforementioned institutions but also to the New Orleans Botanical Garden and Louisiana Children’s Museum. The foundation strives to make art accessible to the New Orleans community through various initiatives, such as Unframed, a groundbreaking multi-mural exhibition of large-scale artwork in Downtown New Orleans, and the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition, the leading public rotating sculpture exhibition in the south, featuring 14 sculptures by esteemed local and international artists along Poydras Street between Convention Center Boulevard and South Galvez.

Mark your calendars for Art & A/C on August 5, 12, 19, and 26. For more details, please visit www.thehelisfoundation.org/projects/art-and-ac.
