This Sunday, February 28, Chef Nina Compton will be hosting the final pop-up in Compère Lapin‘s Black History Month series. This Sunday, Chef/Owner Nina Compton will be partnering for a special brunch with Gabe & Gray Confections from 10:30AM – 2:30PM.
Available for both dine-in and takeout, guests can enjoy an array of specialties created by Gabe & Gray Confections Pastry Chef/Owner Katelyn Ann James including sticky buns, brownies, macarons, and more! Chef Compton’s savory brunch items will also be available, including pork belly hash, hot fire chicken biscuit, goat Bolognese, and more.
The month-long series at Compère Lapin’s has showcased the talents of some of the Crescent City’s brilliant Black culinarians, and paid to the amalgamation of cultures and cuisine that have contributed to America’s Black culinary community.
Reservations are required and capacity is limited, so guests are strongly encouraged to book early!
