Spend a Night in Heaven with Nicky Romero [Spotify Playlist]

Dutch DJ/producer Nicky Romero makes his debut in New Orleans this Saturday at The Metropolitan Nightclub as an installment of the official Voodoo Music + Arts Experience Deja Voodoo after parties. When the gates of Voodoo close Saturday night, the gates to Heaven & Hell at Metropolitan Nightclub will be opening to let the party continue into the early hours of the morning. The Metro will be offering all three rooms (M1, M2, M3) opened as Heaven, featuring Nicky Romero (M1); Purgatory, an environment of the in between featuring hard-hitting locals (M2); and last but not least, Hell featuring heavy bass brought to you by special guest DJ 4B (M3).

The Heaven room will be full of feels from Nicky Romero’s energetic progressive-house style that is known to captivate his listeners. As Nicky was getting his start in the industry, he released an unofficial remix to David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over,” which over time resulted in a foundational mentorship between the two artists. From there, Nicky has played numerous sold out festivals and venues all across the world while gaining devoted fans everywhere he goes. He has also managed to form his own electronic label, Protocol Recordings, as a platform for well-known artists and the new generation of artists to create and spread progressive, forward-thinking music.

Having Nicky Romero grace us with his presence and musical abilities in Heaven at The Metro is sure to be a sweet treat. To gear up for Saturday we’ve compiled a playlist of some tracks we hope to hear this weekend from the man himself:
