The Official New Orleans NYE Ball Drop Hosted by JAX’S Brewery
As the official host of the Fleur de Lis drop, this party is sure to be one to remember. Located at Jax Brewery on Decatur St., the event boasts a wealth of aerial artists, musical performances and an atmosphere rarely experienced even in New Orleans. Allstate Fan Fest
Returning for its 11th year, the Allstate Fan Fest serves as a precursor the All-State Sugar Bowl. This year’s Fan Fest will feature football-themed activities, pep rallies, as well as live performances by Panic! At The Disco and Jason Derulo. Performance times have not yet been announced. The Fan Fest is open from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Dec. 31, and is also open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 1, in Jackson Square. Admission is free and open to the public. Allstate Sugar Bowl NYE Parade
This Mardi Gras-style parade will feature floats, bands, and other participants. The parade begins at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street at 2:30 p.m.It will travel through the French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River, passing iconic landmarks such as The Old US Mint, the French Market, Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square. NYE Extravaganza On The Steamboat NATCHEZ
True to tradition down to the last detail, a trip on the Steamboat NATCHEZ is like taking a step back in time. That’s why it is one of the best ways to ring in the New Year in 2017. Boarding begins at 9:30 p.m. and the party goes til 12:30 a.m. Guests will enjoy a delicious holiday buffet, premium open bar, entertainment, dancing and more. New Years Eve at The Riverview Room
Celebrate the New Year in style at the elegant River Room in Jackson Brewery. Metropolitan NYE’s Celebration
One of the city’s premier nightclubs is doing it big this year with a full roster of performances from acts such as TJR, Jack Novak, as well as a wealth other acts who will be keeping the party going well past midnight and into the wee hours. New Years Eve Frank Sinatra Style
This event, hosted by the WWII Museum is sure to ring in the New Year with a bang! Celebrate the music of Frank Sinatra with vocalist extraordinaire Spencer Racca and their own Victory Swing Orchestra for guest’s dancing pleasure at the Stage Door Canteen at 945 Magazine Street. The event also includes a four course Italian dinner, party favors, wine and beer all evening and a champagne toast at midnight. Seating will be begin at 9 p.m. with music from Victory Swing Orchestra going until 1 a.m.
Big Night New Orleans NYE Gala
This event at the Hyatt Regency in downtown is shaping up to be a big one. The event includes multiple dance floors, themed party areas, party favors, food and drink as well as a midnight celebration. VIP options are also available. Amy Schumer in New Orleans
The world-renowned comedian is also the creator, star, writer and executive producer of the award winning “Inside Amy Schumer”, for Comedy Central. As the only female comedian to ever sell out Madison Square Garden, these tickets are likely to go fast. The Joy Theater just might be putting on the funkiest event of the night!
