“Good morning. In less than a week, people from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest dance party in this history of mankind.
Mankind — that word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore.
We will be united in our common interests.
Perhaps its fate that the party is on the 4th of July, and you will once again be dancing for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution — but from annihilation.
We’re fighting for our right to live, to exist. TO DANCE!
And should we win the night, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the night when the world declared in one voice:
We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We’re going to live on!
We’re going to survive!
On Thursday July 4th, we celebrate our Independence Night!”
~ featuring DJ Doug Funnie, DJ Nice Rack, and special guest DJs to keep you dancin all night ~

Event Details
Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-ā90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997 when their single āSell Outā became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite. Their appearance in the movie āBaseketballā as the halftime band also gained them more fans and helped the band’s popularity to grow. Still fronted by original lead singer and songwriter Aaron Barrett, they continue releasing albums and touring relentlessly, playing more and more countries and bigger venues all over the world.
