Bar Peters at Loews New Orleans Hotel

Bar Peters at Loews New Orleans Hotel will be celebrating with delicious specialty margarita and beer specials, in addition to bar bites and their regular menu for those that want a more elevated Cinco de Mayo experience from 3-11pm.

The Poydras & Peters Marg will be available for $14 and is hand-shaken with Patron Silver & Grand Marnier. The All Day Rita will be offered for $9 and is a classic margarita all the way.

Casa Borrega

It’s a Spring Cinco party at Casa Borrega with the New Orleans Mambo Kings at 6pm! Tickets are required and start at $20. Throughout the day, regular dining will be available with reservations required. Reserve now here.

Felipe’s | 3 restaurants throughout the city

At three Felipe’s Taqueria restaurants throughout the city, the quick-serve restaurant will be celebrating with live music, authentic Mexican dishes, and even a special Cyber Cinco for those that want to grab their food to-go and enjoy at home. La Patrona

If you haven’t been to La Patrona, the newest restaurant from Restauranteur Edwin Alonzo, Cinco de Mayo is the perfect time to go visit! They will be serving up $1 tequila shots, plus food specials including tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and burritos. For those that want to bring the party home, margarita gallons are also available. Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Lucy’s with the fun starting at 11am! Enjoy free tees, $2 Mexican ponies (Modelito + Coronita), half-off Mexican beers, & $5 “Vaccine Shots” (Patron jello shots).

Plenty of photo opportunities, and don’t miss their 5-minute tequila madness: .5 Patron margs for 5 minutes at 5pm plus .5 Patron margs for 5 minutes on the hour every hour starting at 6pm.

Always a River Beats favorite, Carreta’s in Metairie will be offering margarita specials all day, plus raffles, giveaways, and live music on Wednesday, May 5.

El Paso Mexican Grill is serving up family-friendly fun with tacos, burritos, margs, and even tequila tastings! From noon to 3pm, a DJ will be providing the tunes.

Los Jefes Grill (family-friendly) | 3224 Edenborn Ave

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Los Jefes’ 5th annual Cinco de Mayo extravaganza. there will be tacos, margaritas, DJ’s, live music, and giveaways. Music begins at 1pm and includes DJ Emotion, DJ Mannie Fresh, DJ 2NYCE, Otra, Honey Island Swamp Band, and La Tran-K Band.

All-you-can-eat tacos are available for $30, or purchase a VIP package which includes 6 VIP wristbands with all-you-can-eat tacos for all 6 guests, 1 picnic-style table for the entire event, and 1 bottle of Avion Silver with bottle service. Get your tickets in advance here.

Los Jefes cinco de mayo

Tacos del Cartel | 2901 David Drive

For their first official Cinco de Mayo since opening last year, Tacos Del Cartel will host their inaugural House Fest at the Al Copeland Meadow Concert Stage at Lafreniere Park (3000 Downs Blvd). With tacos, music, face painting, bartenders hows and more, this one will be plenty of fun! 3pm-9:30pm

Zocalo Cinco de Mayo | 2051 Metairie Rd.

Zocalo Cocina Mexicana & Cantina will host Zocalo Fest featuring food from restaurants across the city including: Zocalo, Brasa Churrasqueria, Baru Bistro & Tapas, and Basin Seafood and Spirits. With an emphasis on Latin culture and food, there will also be Mexican beers and tequila tastings, taco specials, and live music from DJ Javi Reyes. 

VIP tickets are available and come with one bottle of Tres Generaciones tequila with mixers, food tasting from each of the sponsoring restaurants, and seating close to the dance floor and live music. Get your VIP tickets here. 11:30am-4pm
