MayPop Announces Their Return to New Orleans Later This Month

maypop new orleans CBD reopen

Sister restaurant to Mid-City favorite Mopho, chef/owner Michael Gulotta of MayPop confirmed to NOLA.com that the restaurant will be returning sooner than we think!

Located at 611 O’Keefe Avenue in the CBD, MayPop closed last year like many restaurants due to COVID-19, and their return was unknown as the uncertainty of the pandemic loomed. Today, their team confirmed that the restaurant will reopen for dinner service on April 22, 2021.

After opening in 2016, MayPop developed a group of fans that loved their Southern-Asian fusion dishes, plus homemade pasta and house-cured meats. Outdoor seating will be added once the restaurant fully reopens, and lunch and brunch are also being considered.

Until they fully reopen later this month, get your stomach ready and check out some of the delicious dishes from their Facebook page.
