It’s hard to find a restaurant that specializes in all three meals of the day (brunch, lunch, and dinner) – that is, until Copper Vine entered the chat. Copper Vine at 1001 Poydras Street in the CBD is a treasure, perfect for date night dinners, happy hour chill-outs, private parties, and more.
The food
If you haven’t been to Copper Vine recently, you definitely will want to check them out soon as Chef Amy Mehrtens has tweaked the menu with some new additions.
From Gnocchi au Gratin to Bianca Flatbread, there are plenty of choices to match your palette (and your cocktail of choice). There’s even a few new main entree selections, including the Cornflake-Fried Chicken Sandwich, Crawfish & Andouille Gnocchi, Gulf Fish Amandine, and Wild American Shrimp & Grits. If you choose a pasta dish, know that you are getting some of the best of the best as all of their pasta is made in-house – including the Gnocchi!
the wine
With over 30 wines on tap, Copper Vine Sommelier Lydia Kurkoski has hand-picked stand-out wines and off-beat selections, all at affordable prices. Choose your pour size and try a lot, or stick to what you like – the choice is yours! In addition to their wine-on-tap, there is an even more extensive list of wine including their Cellar List and Coravin by the Glass. If wine is your jam, they even offer unique experiences including private wine tastings and private wine dinners.
